Delivery Time
From the moment you have confirmed your order and payment is received, it usually takes 6ā8 weeks before your FAMBEDĀ® products (Family Bed, fitted sheets, mattress topper or bed valance) are manufactured at our production facility in Denmark and then shipped to you. We will keep you continuously updated on the expected delivery time throughout the process. Delivery of the bed is made by a courier who will contact you before delivery to ensure you are able to receive the bed.

Yes, but as standard our mattress has a reversible comfort, meaning one firm side and one medium side, so if one side doesnāt suit your preferences, you can simply turn one or more mattresses over.

The included pocket spring mattresses are reversible with two different comfort sides: one firm and one medium side. The āDual comfortā feature meets the firmness recommendations and preferences of over 95% of all people.
Thanks to their modular construction, they offer superior motion isolation and optimal safety with a medium-firm, progressive comfort ā which we recommend for co-sleeping. This reduces the risk of temporary indentations around heavier adults during the night, which smaller children might roll into. It not only increases safety but also provides a more undisturbed sleep for the whole family.
If you prefer a soft/medium (not recommended) or a firm/extra firm mattress (recommended for persons over 100 kg) instead, please contact us after your order. Alternatively, we are happy to exchange after delivery for a small delivery fee, so you can be 100% sure to achieve a satisfactory result.

The included bed base has been developed with a focus on safety, accessibility and sustainability.
We have deliberately designed the bed base lower, as extra height does not necessarily provide extra comfort ā and in a Family Bed it is more important that the little ones can climb in and out by themselves. Should one of the little ones roll out of bed, the fall is also not so far.
For the sake of the environment and sustainability, we use recycled foam and FSC-certified wood.
Materials in the bed base
The included bed legs, with a height of 10 cm, ensure the ideal total height for the Family Bed ā comfortable for the parents and at the same time low enough for the little ones to climb up and down by themselves ā and should anything happen, the fall height is small.
A precisely tailored cover made of high-quality upholstery fabric that completely encloses the bed base and mattress, creating a seamless, uniform look. Together with the connecting bed legs, the cover also ensures everything stays in place. With three colour options, you can easily adapt the look to your personal interior style.
The fitted sheet is designed to support the experience of a healthy and relaxing sleep for the whole family.
Since the sheet comes into direct contact with the familyās bare skin, we have chosen high-quality 100% OEKO-TEXĀ® certified cotton ā a natural textile, certified free from harmful chemicals. The snug design wraps the mattress topper in a smooth, seamless layer with strong elastic that keeps it in place all night while also making it quick and easy to make the bed. Quality satin weave with 300 TC makes it durable enough for daily use in a lively Family Bed.

The bed valance is designed to fit your personal interior style and give the bed a clean and complete look.
It is custom-made to cover the bed base all the way down to the floor, hides any storage under the bed and reduces the visual impact of the large Family Bed. Available in three colours that match your fitted sheets and bedroom decor.
The optional headboard adds extra comfort and character to your family bed.
It offers a soft backrest for reading, playing or cosy moments and highlights the bed as a central piece of furniture in the room. The design radiates warmth and calm, and thanks to three colour choices, it can easily be matched with the bed cover, fitted sheets, bed valance and your other bedroom decor.
NOTE: the headboard is assembled from modules just like the bed. Module sizes may vary from the bed modulesā size but the total width is the same as or the ordered width.
Designed to the same width as the chosen bed, 110 cm high from the floor, of which 55 cm is above the bedās sleeping surface, and with a depth of 8 cm.
