Start by measuring the length and width of your bedroom to determine the maximum space available for your wall-to-wall bed. - Decide on your desired bed size:
Consider how much of the room you want your bed to occupy. Think about whether you want space for bedside tables and how much walking space there should be around the bed. - Consider standard sizes for divan beds:
Look at the list of standard sizes for divan beds (75×200 cm, 80×200 cm, 90×200 cm, 120×200 cm, 140×200 cm, 150×200 cm, 160×200 cm, 180×200 cm, 200 cm, 210 cm, and 220 cm in lengths 200 cm, 210 cm, and 220 cm). Assess which mattress combinations will best utilise your available space. - Order Fambed’s bed systems or customised bed system:
Fambed offers the option to customise bed systems up to 480×220 cm. Consider whether you need a bespoke size or if some of the standard sizes meet your needs (standard sizes are cheaper than bespoke). - Buy the missing mattresses to form your bed base
We usually recommend buying divan mattresses or beds for the bed base from Jysk or IKEA, as these are often where you get the best value for money. Alternatively, you can of course also use surplus beds from guest rooms, second-hand beds, or similar. - Installation:
